Starring Camille Rutherford (Anatomy of a Fall), Pablo Pauly (The French Dispatch) this modern tale told with classic charm in both French and English is a heart-warming rom-com and a rare throwback to classic romance, in this year of the 250th Anniversary of Jane Austen's birth.
"A delectable rom com" - Variety
Agathe, hopelessly clumsy yet charming, and full of contradictions, dreams of experiencing love akin to a Jane Austen novel. Instead she finds herself stuck in desperate singlehood, spending her days working in the legendary British bookshop Shakespeare & Co in Paris rather than pursuing her own ambitions of becoming a novelist.
Thursday morning screenings will include subtitles wherever possible, and a free hot drink with your ticket (all Thursday morning tickets are concession rate or under 21s rate).
