Accessibility Statement

To help us make the Electric Palace website accessible to as many people as possible, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. We aim to achieve a Level AA target, but we realise we might not always manage that within some areas of the site. We are continually seeking solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall accessibility.

If you do find you had trouble with any part of our website, please get in touch at info@electricpalacecinema.com

Accessibility at the cinema

Unfortunately, due to our narrow stairway we are not able to install a lift and therefore are not accessible by wheelchair.

We have a hearing loop: it is the Easy T ET1500 Induction Loop Receiver. To use the loop function when in the screening room, please set your hearing aid to 'T' (Telecoil) setting. Please ask at the bar for more information, or contact us at the above email address.

We show occasional subtitled screenings for H/hard of hearing audiences - please check our listings for further information. If you would like to find out more please get in touch at info@electricpalacecinema.com.

Carers go free

Carers who present an official East Sussex Carers Card go free to all standard screenings (£9/£8/£5 events) when accompanying the person they care for on the door, as long as the screening is not fully booked - please contact us in advance with any questions. Carers Card holders also get a free hot drink.

We are a ‘Not for Profit ‘ organisation and we rely on ticket sales and the dedicated work of our fabulous volunteer team to run the cinema. We do not receive any funding for running costs of the cinema - so it's now more important than ever that you keep coming along, buying tickets and treating yourself to a glass of wine or two.
