On the Eve of St Valentine’s Day, join us for a live musical journey on the tricky world of romance.
You'll enjoy live music, poetry and song, with the words of Will Shakespeare to Pam Ayres, and music from Cole Porter to Carole King, presented by our very own Glenys Jacques (looking possibly more glamorous than you have ever seen her before!) with baritone singer Oscar Smith and piano accompaniment from Sheila Burke.
Together we will trace the trajectory of love, from first spark to final ember. It could be a bumpy ride - prepare to be stirred and shaken at this fundraiser for your beloved local independent cinema.
Please arrive 7.30pm for drinks and prompt 8pm start. Lateral flow and masks appreciated. This is a special fundraising event to raise money for the continuation of the Electric Palace in 2022 and beyond.
Psssst, do you play the piano?
Play our new piano before a film and stay on for the screening for free!
