Sinners has made history at the 2026 Oscars (98th Academy Awards), securing a record-breaking 16 nominations, the most for any film ever!
How many can it win? And have you seen it yet?
After the screening you are invited to our very own Oscars Night Party, with Best Dressed Red Carpet competition, and Oscars Sweepstake where you can cast your predictions while we watch live coverage of the Oscar's red-carpet arrivals til midnight!
PLUS food pop-up to keep you going through the night!
Hosted by Tola Dabiri (Hastings Book Festival) and Julia Andrews-Clifford (Electric Palace).
The film beat the previous record of 14 nominations, and emerged ahead of its nearest rival this year, Leonardo DiCaprio's thriller One Battle After Another, which is up for 13 awards. Award contenders include its star Michael B Jordan and his British co-stars Wunmi Mosaku and Delroy Lindo.
Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.
Coogler of Black Panther fame has not only delivered a deliciously vicious vampire hit, but an unapologetically Black genre knockout ablaze with a killer cast and a cranked-up score. A rip-roaring fusion of masterful visual storytelling and toe-tapping music, writer-director Ryan Coogler's first original blockbuster reveals the full scope of his singular imagination.
