Dave McKean Short Film night

An evening of short works and clips, introduced and discussed by director, writer and illustrator Dave McKean, including a couple of big screen premieres, and mostly focussed on the combination of film and music.

McKean has collaborated with Neil Gaiman on an array of film and book projects, and illustrated works on subjects including Heston Blumenthal, John Cale and The Rolling Stones.

With a number of Harry Potter films to his name, as conceptual artist, McKean has also directed many of his own films, including Mirrormask.

McKean has also designed stamps for the Royal Mail, worked on a range of comics and graphic novels, and produced album artwork for bands including Paradise Lost, Machine Head, Fear Factory, and Counting Crows.

Join us for this very special opportunity to hear Dave discuss his body of work, and take part in a Q&A with the audience.
