The most atmospheric film out there!

Fantastic film about the human psyche (or alien psyche) where the focus on character and narrative is equal to the stunning visual spectacle.

Duncan Jones, son of David Bowie, made his debut with this stylish and eerie story of an astronaut whose return to earth is jeopardised by an unexpected accident and failing health. Played by Sam Rockwell, this starman personifies loneliness, in an endless space so claustrophobic that the only person you know is you.

The film won a BAFTA for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer/Director/Producer.

"A fresh blast of old-school sci-fi, bursting with ideas and a stellar turn from Rockwell." - Empire
