An intimate portrait of Ruth Denison and her meditation centre, “Dhamma Dena” in the Mojave Desert of California. For over 40 years Ruth (born 1922) has taught Vipassana meditation around the world, helping thousands of people work through tremendous pain and suffering. Through her compassion, wisdom, and clarity of mind she has guided many individuals to heal their heart and mind and create a new life. The film itself is a meditation that allows us to experience the silence and slow pace of the Mojave desert, to feel the interconnectedness of all life and to become part of this “silent dance”.
