England is Mine

This is the story of Morrissey – front man of legendary band The Smiths and one of British music’s most influential figures. In 1970’s Manchester, Steven Morrissey (Jack Lowden) an introverted, uncompromising teenager, finds his dreams of a music career dampened by his job at the local tax office. He finds solace in the city’s underground gig scene where he meets Linder Sterling – an intelligent, self-assured artist – who encourages him to make his ideas of superstardom a reality.
