We've got funding for live online events!

South East Creatives grant will allow us to install online conferencing equipment for online live streaming.

We're delighted to announce we've been successful in securing funding for installing new equipment to support streaming certain online events later this year.

When lockdown eases, we have a range of live events planned that we hope you can enjoy, either in the cinema or, for the first time, from the comfort of your home.

If you can't make it to the cinema itself, we hope you can still take part in some of the film Q&As, film quizzes, and our upcoming soon-to-be revived Book to Film Club - online!

Funding of £1,013.95 has been awarded to the Electric Palace cinema, by The South East Creative, Cultural and Digital Sector (SECCADS) project, and part funded by the European Regional Development Fund 2014-20.

SECCADS is a partnership project between: Thurrock Council, Kent County Council, East Sussex County Council, Southend-on-Sea Council, Colchester Council, Medway Council and the University of Essex.

We can't wait to get started with our fresh strand of events - we look forward to welcoming you back soon!

If you would like to support the Electric Palace during lockdown, become an official Friend of the Electric Palace, and you can donate to us.
