Hastings Film Fringe

See films with local connections as part of Hastings Fringe Festival 2018.

Now in its fourth year of running, the Hastings Film Fringe has linked with the Hastings Fringe to create a platform for filmmakers and performers alike, to showcase their work; features and shorts respectively.

We'll be screening the following selection of films chosen by the Film Fringe gang, on the following dates and times:

  • Fri 27 July

  • 7.30pm – 8.45pm A selection of short films, featuring several local filmmakers. BOOK NOW


    9pm – 10.30pm Feature film 'Lift' (15)

    Sean’s vicious attack leaves a man unconscious and him stranded in an elevator with five others. In the confines of the lift, love has a chance of blossoming – violence has a chance of erupting – Sean has little chance of escape. With his freedom hanging in the balance can the people who fear him offer him one last chance of redemption?

    9.15pm – 10.30pm Feature film 'Guardians' (15)

    Two ill-matched men are thrown together when they become Live-In Guardians of a 200 year old townhouse in the East End of London. But living with each other is the least of their problems as there is more to the house than meets the eye. Amoral estate agents, irate labourers, pervert politicians, fox loving chuggers only add to the fact that a 200 year old curse may consume them both. BOOK NOW
