Strange Frames presents the chillingly elegant ghost story set in feudal Japan.
This haunting folk tale follows a sculptor who encounters a mysterious woman during a snowstorm, an meeting that binds their fates forever. Part horror, part love story Tokuzō Tanaka’s film is based on the medieval folklore of the Yuki-onna, a snow witch who could turn people into ice and snow and disappear into a blizzard.
