Set in a retro-futuristic bureaucracy gone mad, the film follows office worker Sam Lowry as he navigates a labyrinth of paperwork, surveillance, and mistaken identity. With iconic production design, biting political satire, and hallucinatory surrealism Brazil remains one of the most visionary and unsettling films of the 20th century… and somehow more relevant now than ever.
