This seminal feminist road movie is perfect for celebrating themes of liberation, female friendship, and defying patriarchal constraints. Starring Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon, the film follows two friends on a transformative, rebellious journey, making it a powerful 1990s cultural touchstone. If all you need for a film is ""a girl and a gun"" (Jean- Luc Godard) then maybe this film took it literally, but not in the way that Godard meant?!
