Kick off those January blues with Joel Schumacher's teen vampire comedy horror - an classic that blends horror with humor, plus standout performances from a cast full of young 1980s stars including Kiefer Sutherland and Jason Patric. For those not in the know, the plot revolves around recently divorced mother and her two teenage boys who move to a coastal town (sound familiar?) to stay with her father, but it doesn't take long for the brothers to realize the area is a haven for something much more sinister than party-going surfers.
