An American scientist and his Japanese colleagues study a feral boy born from the radiated heart of Frankenstein's monster, while a subterranean dinosaur ravages the Japanese countryside. The film was known internationally as Frankenstein Conquers The World.

Inspired by King Kong, and Mary Shelley's tale this cult favourite found a fanatic audience on American TV. It was made by the four founding fathers of the Godzilla franchise – mega producer Tomoyuki Tanaka, director Ishirō Honda, special effects maestro Eiji Tsuburaya, and composer Akira Ifukube.

'Fun' fact: The film was released in Japan on August 8, 1965, two days after the 20th anniversary of the Hiroshima bombing.
