WITH ANIME WORKSHOP
101 MINS / 2024 / JAPAN / ENGLISH

Contemporary anime new release plus anime drawing workshops. Dubbed in English.

Schoolgirl Totsuko can see colours of the emotions in people, but in order to keep her friends and family from dark feelings, she worries, reads situations, and lies to smooth things over.

At a Nagasaki antique bookshop, she meets a beautiful woman with an incredible colour and a music-loving boy trying to put a band together.

The story follows these three sensitive people who gather together and play music.

Join us for an anime drawing workshop before the film and revel in the 'colours' and style of modern anime following in the footsteps of Miyazaki and the greats of Studio Ghibli.

Family Friday screening: Friday 5 December, doors 4pm

Family Fridays is an interactive end-of-the-week screening for primary age children to enjoy cinema with their parents and carers!

Every film is preceded by a short FREE workshop. In this session, we'll be drawing modern anime-style with appropriately vibrant colours.

Please note our Family Fridays start time of 4.30pm (doors 4pm) to give schools from across Hastings time to kick start their weekend at the Electric Palace. All shows end by 6.30pm. The reduced ticket price is £6 for everyone.

Please note, children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult (minimum one adult per four children). Spaces are limited so advance booking is recommended.
