Join us for this classic hand-drawn retelling of the old Chinese folk story about a young girl who disguises herself as a man and goes to war to protect the country in place of her aged father, and finally returns as a national hero/heroine.
Mulan is an outgoing, smart, and independent young woman who has difficulty fitting in the more traditional and reserved ancient Chinese society, facing frustrations and desires that both boys and girls can relate to: how to be your true self regardless of the environment you are in!
Doors open at 4.00pm for FREE Warrior Within Mask-Making Workshop before the film starts at 4.30pm.
Hosted by teacher and animator, Silas Money as part of Family Fridays, inviting all the family to kick-start your weekend with a children's classic on the first Friday afternoon of every month!
