Neurodiversity Film Festival 2026 - Short Film Call Out

Submit your short film to be screened at the second Neurodiversity Film Festival at The Electric Palace Cinema in April 2026!

Calling all neurodivergent filmmakers!

The Electric Palace has announced an open call for short films to be screened at the second Neurodiversity Film Festival at The Electric Palace Cinema in April 2026.

Developed in partnership with Autism Spectrum, Eggtooth, AMAZE, Project Artworks, The Roebuck Centre and Oska Bright Film Festival. 

Learn about the films we showcased last year. 

All films must fit the following criteria:

  • 25 minutes maximum length
  • Must on MP4 or H264 formats
  • Must be submitted by Sunday 15 March 2026

All you have to do is send your short film to filmprogramming@electricpalacecinema.com

  • Formats accepted: MP4 or H264 (you may need to send it via WeTransfer depending on how large the file is)
  • Include your name in the email
  • Include the title of film
  • Include duration of film
  • Include any other information you want to add

DEADLINE to submit your film is Sunday 15 March 2026

All films will be watched and considered for selection by our neurodiversity film festival curator team after 15 March 2026. We will get back to you with more details and further info if your film is selected.
