Our new film strand, Independent Visions, celebrates the lo-fi, experimental and cult.
Working in partnership with Brighton-based film distributors, Bulldog Film Distribution, we present monthly screenings showcasing new must-sees as well as recent greats and underground hits you may have missed.
Each film screening is hosted by Philip Hoile, charismatic cinephile and independent film expert, and includes on-stage or zoom intros or interviews with these contemporary filmmakers - plus a chance to get your hands on free merch and posters!

Whimsical and poignant surrealist science fantasy adventure. Mild-mannered government agent James Preble (Kentucker Audley) travels to a remote farmhouse to audit the dreams of Arabella “Bella” Isadora (Penny Fuller), an eccentric, aging artist. Entering Bella’s vast VHS archive, which contains a lifetime of dreams, Preble stumbles upon a secret that offers him a chance at love – and hope for escape.
