Includes Q&A with Katherine O'Brien
89 Mins / 2019 / Republic of Macedonia

Q&A only on Thursday 11am and 8pm

The last female  bee-keeper  in Europe must save her bees and return the natural balance in Honeyland, when a family of nomadic beekeepers invade her land and threaten her livelihood. Filmed in Macedonia, this is an exploration of an observational Indigenous visual narrative that deeply impacts our behaviour towards natural resources and the human condition. Honeyland is both an immersive experience and an undeniably gorgeous reflection on our relationship to nature.

PLUS: Q&A and other surprises with Katharine O'Brien local beekeeper, founder of Bee Potion apothecary and woodland wellbeing facilitator.

All profits from the bee inspired skincare products go to running courses for vulnerable youth in nature, also inspired by our Hastings bees.
